El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom is a grassroots program coordinated by the Farm Bureau and working closely with the University of California Cooperative Extention (UCCE) and the California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom. Its goal is to help students and teachers gain a greater awareness of the role of agriculture in the economy and society, so that they may become citizens who support wise agricultural policies.
